Start with the builder for a new companion, an existing character for conversation, or the generator for a visual idea. A still picture can become the starting material for image-to-video generation.

- Conversation first: ask that character to help plan a fictional journey, keeping your own decisions and dialogue under your control.
- Visual first: plan a map-room portrait, then decide separately whether a simple movement would add anything to it.
Separate the subscription from media spending
The monthly plan comparison lists different message allowances and monthly coins. Compare those figures with what you actually want to do, rather than treating the highest tier as necessary for every activity.
Images are listed at 2 tokens and videos at 20 tokens. Unlimited messages are not unlimited media. The plan uses both coin and token wording, so check the balance and charge shown in your account instead of assuming a conversion. Confirm the selected billing period before paying.

Give the first session a manageable goal
Our first-session advice is to finish one small task before adding another. Write a character brief, have a few exchanges about one setting, and decide whether you still want an image. Keep sensitive personal information out of creative prompts.
Adult characters and NSFW labels
DarLink is for adults aged 18 and over. Some character cards carry an NSFW label, which lets you recognize adult themes before opening them. A label does not remove the content rules or establish permission for any particular request.
Keep character creation fictional and respect other people's identity and consent. Do not use someone else's private photographs or identifying details to create sexualized material. For a question about a specific use, contact support before uploading it.
AI models, API access and running locally
Use DarLink in your browser for character conversations and media. If you need an API integration or a local model, request the current availability and documentation from support. A third-party package, Hugging Face listing or ComfyUI workflow using the name does not by itself establish an official DarLink integration.

What is DarLink AI?
DarLink is an adult AI companion service with character customization, chat, roleplay and generated images and videos. Its companions simulate conversation; they are not people, and their responses are not reliable professional advice.
Is DarLink AI good or worth it?
It depends on what you want. It may suit adults interested in fictional companions and creative media. We would compare the trial experience, message allowance and media costs with your priorities before paying, rather than assuming the highest plan is worthwhile.
Does Ultimate include unlimited images and videos?
No. The unlimited allowance is for messages. The plan comparison still lists token charges for images and videos, so keep a separate media budget.
Does DarLink AI support Chinese and Japanese?
Try a short text exchange in your preferred language and check whether it follows the tone and writing style you need. Confirm voice availability separately. Text replies in Chinese or Japanese do not mean that matching voice options or a translated interface are included.
Can I try generation without committing to a plan?
The image generator has a trial entry point. Video access is separate and can require a subscription, so an image trial does not establish free video generation. Read the access notice and charge for the feature you want to use.
Where can I find DarLink's official community channels?
Contact support@darlink.ai to confirm a current community link before joining a server or group. A community using the DarLink name is not proof of an official connection. Never share passwords or recovery codes with someone offering account help in a direct message.
Which AI model does DarLink use?
Contact support@darlink.ai for the model and provider currently used for your account. An unrelated model package or listing using the DarLink name does not identify the model behind your conversations. Model details, API access and a local installation are separate questions.
