DarLink AI voice and memory

Choose a voice for how your companion sounds, and compare memory tiers for conversation continuity. DarLink offers voice messaging, but the number of voices does not tell you the audio allowance or confirm live calls. Memory names do not specify how much context will be retained.

We suggest deciding what matters separately. You might want a voice that suits a reserved fictional character, while your story needs only a short recap to continue. A more expensive memory label should not replace keeping your own record of details you care about.

Compare voice choices and memory tiers

The plan comparison gives the following voice counts and memory names. These are product tiers, not measurements of how many scenes, facts or days the companion will reliably remember.

Choose a voice that fits your character

Use the voice preference offered during character customization and the options available to your account. Think about the character's conversational tone: a measured reply and a lively reply serve different scenes. Do not assume a particular accent, language or cloning capability from the number of voices alone.

For an ordinary sample message, an adult museum curator explaining a misplaced exhibit label provides enough material to judge whether the delivery suits your idea. If playback is available, listen at a comfortable volume. Voice selection alone does not establish synchronized speech in generated video.

Prepare a continuity note you can actually reuse

For a continuing story, write down the facts you want to preserve before the next conversation. Keep preferences apart from story events: liking concise replies is not the same kind of detail as finding a missing label in a drawer.

  1. Name the fictional adult characters and their roles.
  2. Summarize the latest agreed event in one sentence.
  3. List one or two details that must stay consistent, such as a location or an unopened object.
  4. Add the unresolved question and the next action you want to take.
  5. If a reply conflicts with the note, state the correction plainly before continuing.

Keep important writing outside the conversation too

Our advice is to retain a separate copy of character notes and story summaries. DarLink's terms do not guarantee that created content will always be saved or retrievable. A memory feature and a permanent backup are not interchangeable.

Questions

How many DarLink voices are included in each plan?

Essential lists six standard choices. Advanced and Ultimate each list ten premium choices. Check the voices offered to your account rather than assuming every voice or language is included.

Does living memory remember everything forever?

The name does not establish that guarantee. Keep a brief recap for important story facts and correct mismatches rather than relying on the label as a promise of flawless recall.

Does changing a voice change the character's personality?

Treat voice and personality as separate choices. Describe the behavior you want in the character brief; do not rely on a voice selection to communicate hobbies, boundaries or a backstory.

Can I use a recap without knowing the memory system's details?

Yes. A plain-language recap states the context directly. It does not require a claimed context-window size, a special memory command or a promise about how long information is retained.

Do voice options mean generated videos include dialogue?

Not necessarily. Voice messaging and video generation are separate features. Check whether the video tool explicitly offers spoken audio before planning a talking clip.
